LynTec Makes Power Play & Adds New General Manager/VP to Corporate Team
May 10, 2012 – Lenexa, KS —– LynTec the leading provider of controllable circuit breaker panels is proud to announce a new executive staff addition and welcomes Alan Tschirner to the role of General Manager/Vice President.
Considered an expert in communication, controls and electrical systems, Tschirner brings over 30 years of expertise to the position. His previous experience includes VP of Engineering positions at Time Warner Cable and National Cable Television Cooperative.
In his role at NCTC, Tschirner provided engineering leadership and solutions to member companies that operated in small and midsized markets. At Time Warner, his engineering functions included construction, fleet, facilities, warehouse service and maintenance. Tschirner led the launch of high speed data and digital video services to 300K metropolitan subscribers.
Now at LynTec, Tschirner will oversee the company’s engineering, production and the company’s more advanced / complex electrical solutions to respond to customer demand. He will focus his time on opportunities in energy management, lighting, current monitoring, reporting and alarming. About the position, Tschirner states, “LynTec has long been a thought leader in power and lighting controls and setting the bar for excellence. I am proud to be a part of its executive team and eager to integrate my previous experience to help grow our solutions for audio, video, lighting and power.”

Tschirner’s education includes Penn Valley Community College, Denver University, Pioneer Community College and the Kansas City Electronics Institute where he studied human relations in business, finance and accounting, mid management supervision, and electronics. In addition, dedication to his industries has always been part of Tschirner’s acumen and he has been an active member of FCC’s Communications Security, Reliability and Interoperability Board and a National Board and Executive Committee Member of the Society of Cable Telecommunication Engineers. His professional credits include certifications as a broadband communication technician and engineer.
