+Direct DMX control for every lighting circuit.
The LC Series integrates DMX512 control directly at the breaker level, providing a simple and robust solution for managing non-dimmed lighting loads. By using motorized breakers inside familiar load centers and panelboards, the LC series eliminates the need for separate relay panels, simplifying installation and saving significant wall space.
Each breaker is assigned a unique DMX address, allowing for individual on, off, or no-change commands directly from a lighting console. This gives lighting designers precise control over practicals, work lights, and motorized fixtures, ensuring they are only powered when needed.
Engineered for lighting system integration.
Native DMX512 control simplifies programming and wiring.
Consolidate power and control into a single panel.
Flexible configurations from 4 to 41 circuits per panel.
Your questions, answered.
Yes. LC Series panels are engineered for flexibility. You can mix DMX-controlled motorized breakers with standard, non-controlled breakers in the same enclosure. This allows you to create a cost-effective solution that provides direct DMX control only for the specific circuits that require it, such as non-dimmed fixtures, work lights, or practicals.
Each motorized breaker in an LC Series panel is addressed using simple jumpers on its control board. You set the DMX start address for the first breaker, and each subsequent controlled breaker is automatically assigned the next sequential address. This design simplifies commissioning and makes it easy to integrate into your lighting control system without complex software configuration.
The control logic is simple and intuitive for lighting programmers. For each assigned DMX address, a value of 127 or lower sends an ‘off’ command to the breaker. A value of 128 or higher sends an ‘on’ command. This clear threshold makes programming from any standard lighting console quick and reliable.
If the DMX signal is lost, the LC Series breakers are designed to hold their last state. This feature ensures that lighting or other controlled loads are not unintentionally turned on or off during a signal interruption from the console. This provides stable and predictable performance in any live environment.
LC Series control is available in several form factors to match project scale. You can specify it within compact load centers for smaller applications or in full-sized panelboards for systems requiring up to 41 controlled circuits. This modularity ensures a proper fit for a wide range of installation environments and system sizes.
The LC Series integrates DMX control and power distribution into a single, familiar panelboard. This approach saves significant wall space, reduces hardware costs, and simplifies installation by eliminating the need to wire between a main distribution panel and a secondary relay panel. It creates a cleaner, more efficient, and robust power infrastructure for your lighting system.
