+Automated power sequencing for safer system operation.
LynTec MS Series panels manage high inrush currents by sequencing power on in controlled, delayed steps. This prevents circuit overload and protects sensitive equipment like amplifiers and loudspeakers from damaging power-on transients. The reverse sequence on shutdown ensures a quiet and safe power-down process, providing reliable protection against operator error.
Available in multiple configurations including the MSP panelboard, MSLC load center, and PDS relay-based sequencer, the MS series offers a scalable solution. Systems can be daisy-chained for unlimited circuit counts and integrate features like automatic load shedding for brownout protection and emergency shutdown for life safety system integration.

Your questions, answered.
Yes, MS panels offer the flexibility to combine sequenced and non-sequenced circuits within a single enclosure. This allows you to provide sequenced power for sensitive equipment like audio amplifiers while also powering devices that do not require sequencing, such as utility outlets or certain video displays. This simplifies wiring and reduces the number of panels required for a project.
MS Series panels are designed for modular scalability. You can easily link multiple panels together using a simple low-voltage connection in a daisy-chain configuration. This allows you to create a single, unified sequencing system with a virtually unlimited number of circuits. The entire multi-panel system can then be controlled from a single initiation point, simplifying operation for large and complex installations.
The integrated brownout protection continuously monitors incoming line voltage. If the voltage drops below a safe operating level, the MS panel automatically initiates a controlled shutdown sequence to protect all connected equipment from potential damage. Once stable power is restored, the panel will automatically begin the proper power-up sequence, bringing the system back online safely without manual intervention.
MS panels feature an integrated emergency shutdown function for life safety integration. This is managed via a dry contact closure input that connects directly to a fire alarm or other emergency system. When the contact is triggered, the panel immediately powers down all sequenced circuits in a single step, ensuring the system is safely de-energized during an emergency event as required by many local codes.
The MS series is designed for simple, reliable control. The sequence is typically initiated by a low-voltage, momentary key switch or other dry contact closure. This provides a straightforward one-touch start and stop for the entire system, making it easy for any operator to use safely and preventing accidental operation.
The MS Series includes several models to fit different installation needs. The MSP is a traditional panelboard, ideal for installations requiring a standard breaker panel form factor. The MSLC is a more compact load center, suited for smaller systems or where space is limited. The PDS is a relay-only sequencer designed to be installed downstream from an existing breaker panel, providing sequencing control without integrated circuit protection.
