+Custom power distribution, built to your exact specifications.
Each PD Series power strip is built to order in our US facility, allowing integrators to specify the exact number of circuits, receptacle types, grounding options, and power feed characteristics a project requires. This eliminates the complexity and risk of field-wiring individual outlets, ensuring a clean, code-compliant installation every time.
By working directly from your design documents or our straightforward order menu, we deliver a reliable, purpose-built power solution that simplifies cable management and reduces on-site labor. With typical lead times of just 3 to 5 days, you get custom infrastructure without the custom timeline.
What makes the PD Series different.
Engineered to your exact project specifications.
Faster lead times for custom power infrastructure.
Simplified installation with pre-assembled, certified hardware.
Your questions, answered.
Yes. All PD Series models are tested and certified by Intertek (ETL) to meet UL 5 standards for surface metal raceways. This certification ensures our power strips meet national safety and code compliance requirements for commercial use, giving you and your clients confidence in the reliability and safety of the installation.
Yes, isolated ground (IG) receptacles are a frequently specified option for PD Series power strips. Ordering IG receptacles is an effective way to protect sensitive audio, video, and data processing equipment from potential ground loop hum and other electrical noise. This feature provides a separate, insulated grounding path, helping to ensure the clean power required in mission-critical AVL environments.
Each PD Series unit is built to order. You can specify the exact number of circuits, receptacle types like NEMA 5-15/20R or locking L5-30R, and options such as isolated ground (IG). You also define the power feed, including the length of the wire harness, its exit location from the chassis, and whether it terminates in flexible metal conduit or a heavy-duty power cord. We can work from your design documents or our straightforward order menu to configure the perfect unit.
A PD Series unit arrives on-site pre-assembled and pre-wired to your exact specifications. This eliminates the complex and time-consuming task of field-wiring individual outlets inside a rack, which significantly reduces on-site labor costs and minimizes the potential for wiring errors. With circuits and receptacles already labeled and the power harness cut to length, installation becomes a simple process of mounting the strip and connecting the power feed.
PD Series strips are configured with a custom wire harness to match your installation plan. You can specify the exact length needed to reach your power source, minimizing excess cabling. The harness can exit from either the top or bottom of the chassis. For the connection type, you can choose between flexible metal conduit for permanent, hard-wired installations or a heavy-duty SJT power cord for applications requiring more flexibility.
PD Series units are designed for flexible vertical mounting. Models like the PD3 include adjustable side mounting brackets that can be moved between multiple threaded locations on the chassis. This versatility allows you to position the strip precisely within the rack to accommodate your equipment layout and cable management needs. If you have non-standard rack configurations, custom mounting hardware can also be included upon request.
