Simple, reliable power sequencing for any installation.
The PDS-12 Sequencing Relay Panel simplifies power control for any venue requiring straightforward, reliable power-up and power-down sequencing. Engineered as a complete, tested package, the PDS-12 mounts next to your main breaker panel to control AC “hot” lines directly, reducing installation labor and complexity. It uses robust Panasonic latching relays that consume no continuous power, ensuring cool, efficient, and long-term operation without thermal stress.
Available in 4, 8, or 12 circuit configurations, the PDS-12 is built for electrician-friendly deployment. Standard features like automatic load shedding for emergency shutdown and brownout protection for sensitive equipment provide a layer of safety and reliability essential for modern AVL systems. Simple contact closure inputs enable one-touch system control, making daily operation intuitive for any user.

Configure your PDS-12 panel.
Choose the number of circuits your panel needs to control. All models share the same chassis and core features.
- 4-Circuit (PDS-12-4): Ideal for smaller racks or distributed power control points.
- 8-Circuit (PDS-12-8): A versatile option for mid-sized systems or single-room installations.
- 12-Circuit (PDS-12): Provides maximum capacity for main equipment rooms or larger venues.
A new 2-pole option is available that ties two relays together, allowing them to switch as a single circuit for loads that require it.
The PDS-12 is available in three voltage configurations to match your facility’s electrical service.
- 120V (Standard): The default configuration for most North American AVL installations.
- 240V (Optional): For systems requiring 240V single-phase power.
- 277V (Optional): For installations using 277V lighting or other commercial power systems.
All panels include standard control inputs, with optional outputs available for system integration.
- Control Input (Standard): A simple contact closure input allows for one-touch control via a key switch or automation system.
- Control Outputs (Optional): Add contact closure outputs to provide status feedback to third-party monitoring or control systems.

FAQs about the PDS-12 Panel
Yes, multiple PDS-12 panels can be daisy-chained together to control an unlimited number of circuits. The control signal passes from one panel to the next to maintain a single, coordinated sequence.
No, the PDS-12 is engineered for simple setup and does not require specialized on-site commissioning. Onboard test switches and diagnostic LEDs help installers verify correct operation quickly.
The PDS-12 uses a standard contact closure input for control. This allows you to trigger the on/off sequence with a simple key switch, button, or a relay output from a third-party automation system.
Each PDS-12 panel ships as a complete, tested assembly with the specified number of 30-amp latching relays installed. A LynTec SS-2 key switch set is also included for control.
The panel is designed to be mounted on a wall directly next to the main circuit breaker panel it is controlling. This simplifies wiring by allowing easy access to the AC “hot” lines for the controlled circuits.
