Remote power control with integrated RX surge protection.
The Juice Goose iP-1520-RX combines intelligent, web-based power management with the trusted performance of RX Series surge protection and filtration. This 20A unit provides remote, individual control over three separate power pods, allowing integrators to switch and sequence equipment from any web browser or via TCP/IP and UDP commands. An onboard web server simplifies setup and provides real-time amperage monitoring for each pod, giving operators clear visibility into system loads.
Engineered for reliability, the iP-1520-RX features robust protection against transient surges and ground line noise, making it an ideal foundation for racks with sensitive digital signal processors and other critical AVL hardware. Local override switches ensure failsafe operation, providing confident control even if the network connection is lost.

FAQs about the iP-1520-RX
Yes, the iP-1520-RX can be programmed to sequence the Power Pods on and off. This is useful in audio systems to prevent speaker pops and manage inrush current from multiple amplifiers starting simultaneously.
RX Series technology protects against both normal mode (line-neutral) and common mode (ground) surges. It limits ground line surges to a maximum of 0.5 volts, which is critical for protecting sensitive digital processing equipment from operating faults.
The six outlets are grouped into three Power Pods of two outlets each. Each pod can be turned on or off independently via the web interface, TCP/IP, or UDP, giving you granular control over your connected equipment.
This feature allows the unit to monitor its network connection. If it detects that the connection to a designated network device like a router is lost, it can automatically power cycle the pod that the router is plugged into, helping to restore connectivity without manual intervention.
