The six outlets are grouped into three ‘Power Pods’ of two outlets each. Each pod is controlled as a single unit, allowing you to switch three independent groups of equipment on and off remotely.
Yes. The iP-1520 is designed to be controlled by commercial AV control systems from companies like Crestron and Q-SYS. Integration is typically achieved using the available RS-232 or TCP/IP text-based command protocols.
The iP-1520 can be controlled from any standard web browser via its onboard web server. It also supports integration with third-party automation systems using raw TCP/IP, UDP, or serial RS-232 commands. A manual override switch is located on the front panel for local control.
The iP-1520 features a failsafe manual override switch on the front panel for local control if the network is unavailable. It can also be configured to automatically power cycle a connected router or modem to attempt to reestablish an internet connection.
As a 20A device, the iP-1520 is equipped with a NEMA 5-20P plug and must be connected to a 20A circuit with a corresponding NEMA 5-20R receptacle.
