The integrated RX Series hybrid filter circuit provides superior protection, limiting ground line surges to just 0.50 volts and filtering out EMI/RFI noise for cleaner audio and video performance. A front-panel digital meter provides at-a-glance monitoring of voltage or current consumption, while front and rear USB ports offer convenient power for accessories and utility lighting. Yes, the front and rear 5-volt USB ports can be used to power utility lights, such as a gooseneck lamp for rack visibility, or to charge accessories including phones and tablets.
Select the model that matches the electrical circuit powering your rack. The RP 100-15RX is for standard 15A circuits. If your rack is connected to a 20A circuit and has higher power demands, consider the RP 100-20RX model.
The front-panel meter can be toggled to show either the incoming AC voltage (to the nearest 0.10V) or the total current being drawn by connected equipment (from 0.2A to 25.0A), giving you instant insight into your power status.
The ‘RX’ models, like this one, include our advanced RX Series hybrid surge protection circuit, which limits ground line surges to 0.50 volts and provides superior EMI/RFI filtration. The ‘A’ models feature reliable, standard surge protection.
