CQ 1515-RX
Rack-mount power sequencer with 15A service and integrated RX Series surge protection.
The CQ 1515-RX is a 1U rack-mount power sequencer with three timed steps, seven outlets, and a 15-amp capacity for standalone operation. It protects sensitive AVL equipment in smaller racks from damaging surges and inrush current, simplifying system startup without requiring a primary controller.

Sequenced power-up and surge protection in one unit.
The CQ 1515-RX provides reliable three-step power sequencing and proven RX Series surge protection in a single 1U rack unit. It features seven rear outlets, with six outlets grouped into three sequenced pods to manage equipment startup and prevent inrush current trips on a single 15A circuit. An integrated sequencing engine allows the CQ 1515-RX to operate as a standalone primary unit or be daisy-chained with other CQ Series products via simple RJ-45 connections for scalable deployments.
Engineered for dependability, the onboard RX Series protection shields connected gear from both normal mode (line-neutral) and common mode (line-ground) electrical surges and noise. Front-panel LEDs provide clear at-a-glance status of each sequence pod, while internal DIP switches allow installers to adjust the delay timing to match system requirements.

FAQs about the CQ 1515-RX
Yes, the delay time between sequence events is adjustable. By changing the position of two DIP switches on the main circuit board, you can select a delay of 2 seconds (standard), 10 seconds, 20 seconds, or 30 seconds.
No, the CQ 1515-RX has a self-contained sequencing circuit and can operate as a standalone primary unit right out of the box. It does not require any external controller or programming for basic operation.
You can daisy-chain multiple CQ Series units using standard eight-wire RJ-45 cables. Connect the Signal Output of the primary unit to the Signal Input of the next unit in the chain to synchronize their sequencing.
The blue ‘Pod’ LEDs light up when power is applied to each of the three sequenced output groups. A flashing blue and red ‘Processor’ LED indicates that the sequencer and surge protection circuits are operating correctly.
The CQ 1515-RX features Juice Goose’s proven RX Series power protection, which defends against both normal mode (line to neutral) and common mode (ground line) surges and includes line noise filtration.
