The Juice Goose SQ-1500 delivers straightforward, dependable power sequencing for single-rack AV systems. It provides a 15A capacity distributed across six outlets, grouped into three sequenced steps to prevent harmful inrush current during startup. An additional seventh outlet remains unswitched for devices that require constant power. The simple design includes integrated surge protection and line noise filtration to protect connected equipment.
Designed for ease of use, the SQ-1500 can be activated locally via its front-panel switch or remotely using a simple latching contact closure. This makes it an ideal solution for installations in conference rooms, classrooms, and project studios where reliable, automated power-up is needed without the complexity of a networked control system. No, the SQ-1500 is a completely standalone power sequencer. It is designed for single-rack applications and does not need to be connected to a primary or primary control unit.
The SQ-1500 is controlled remotely via a simple latching contact closure. This allows activation from a basic wall switch, lectern button, or a third-party control system’s relay output without any network programming.
The SQ-1500 includes surge and spike protection to guard against voltage anomalies, as well as AC line noise filtration to ensure cleaner power for sensitive audio and video equipment.
Six of the seven rear outlets are sequenced. They are arranged in three groups of two, with each group turning on in a timed delay. One outlet is always on for devices that need constant power.
