    RPC SYSTEM OVERVIEW

Complete power control infrastructure, simplified for installation and use.

The LynTec RPC series brings intelligent, network-enabled control to the foundational infrastructure of AVL installations. Built on the trusted Square-D Powerlink hardware platform, the RPC system provides reliable, remotely operated breakers in a self-contained panel. The architecture is designed for scalability, starting with a required RPC Primary Panel that functions as the system’s brain and expanding with cost-effective RPS Secondary Panels to meet any circuit count up to 168.

Every panel is managed through a unified, browser-based interface, simplifying setup, monitoring, and daily operation without requiring on-site factory commissioning. With native support for all major control protocols and built-in protection features, the RPC system reduces installation complexity and gives operators confident control over every circuit in their facility.

    FAQ

    FAQs about the RPC System

Can the RPC system integrate with a building management system?

Yes. The RPC system integrates with most building automation and management systems for centralized control and monitoring using its native network protocols, including HTTP, Telnet, DMX, and sACN.

How do I configure an RPC system for my facility?

Every RPC system starts with a required RPC Primary Panel, which contains the controller. You can add optional RPS Secondary Panels to expand the circuit count. Contact a LynTec engineer to spec the right configuration for your needs.

Is on-site factory commissioning required for an RPC system?

No. The RPC system is designed for simple setup and commissioning by the installer. The integrated web browser interface provides all the tools needed for configuration without requiring a factory specialist on-site.

What is an ITG (Isolated Technical Ground) panel?

ITG panels include a separate, isolated ground bar for sensitive audio and video equipment. This helps to reduce electrical noise and hum that can degrade system performance, making it ideal for recording studios and performance venues.

What is the difference between an RPC and an RPS panel?

The RPC is the Primary Panel and contains the system intelligence, including the web server and control inputs. The RPS is a Secondary Panel that provides additional circuits but must be connected to and controlled by an RPC Primary Panel.

What kind of surge protection is available for RPC panels?

We offer optional SurgeX in-panel surge elimination modules. These can be factory-installed to provide industrial-grade protection against transient voltage surges and spikes for all connected circuits. Whole-panel surge protective devices (SPDs), such as the EMB22, are also available to protect the entire panel at the service entrance.
