    Can I use the RC DM1 with non-Juice Goose products?

    The RC DM1 is engineered specifically for the control signal and logic of the Juice Goose CQ Series power sequencing ecosystem. It is not designed or supported for use with other manufacturers’ sequencing products.

    Does the RC DM1 need its own power source?

    Yes, the RC DM1 requires a 12 VAC power source to operate. A compatible external power adapter is included with the unit.

    How does the RC DM1 connect to an alarm panel?

    The RC DM1 connects to a normally-closed, latching dry contact on an alarm control panel via a two-position screw terminal. When the alarm triggers, the contact opens, which signals the RC DM1 to begin the power-down sequence.

    What happens when the alarm condition is cleared?

    Once the alarm is cleared and the dry contact between the terminals is restored (closed), the RC DM1 will automatically initiate a normal power-up sequence for all connected CQ Series units.
