    For added safety, a dedicated contact closure input allows the RC DM3 to connect directly to a fire alarm or other emergency system. If the alarm is triggered, the module initiates an immediate, orderly power-down sequence across all connected equipment, protecting sensitive AVL systems and ensuring code compliance.
